Starkstrom supplies both UPS Remote Alarms & Alarms that can be connected to IPS systems:


IPS (Isolated Power Supply)

An Isolated Power Supply is not a complete system unless it has a Remote Alarm connected to it. The remote alarm is the essential piece of equipment that reports any faults with the system. It should be positioned in the area that the IPS system supplies power to so that those working there can be notified of any issues immediately.

 

    Healthy Ready Screen

    Programmable Text Remote Alarm Unit – RA003
    Compatible with: IPS & UPS

    This is Starkstrom’s most advanced remote alarm and is designed to provide a comprehensive summary of any alarm that is happening or that has happened. It will inform the user of what type of alarm is happening either from an IPS or a UPS and has an audible alert too. It will inform them of which system is having the problem too. This type of alarm is ideal for reporting a large number of systems to one central area. It can monitor a maximum of 16 IPS systems. System descriptions, circuit locations and event logging are displayed in eight lines of text.  

    IPS Remote Alarm2

    Diagnostic Remote Alarm – RA004
    Compatible with: IPS

    This alarm is designed to act as a comprehensive remote alarm that will show exactly what any problems are and allow users to see the status of the IPS system feeding their area. This alarm also has an audible buzzer on it to alert users to any problems.

    Audible Clinical Alarm – RA006
    Compatible with: IPS & UPS

    This is Starkstrom’s clinical IPS & UPS remote alarm and it is capable of alarming if one of the following UPS faults occurs: loss of mains, battery low, bypass operation, UPS not running, It can also monitor the following IPS faults: insulation faults, load faults, and temperature faults.

    This is Starkstrom’s clinical IPS & UPS remote alarm and it is capable of alarming if one of the following UPS faults occurs: loss of mains, battery low, bypass operation and UPS not running. It can also monitor the following IPS faults: insulation faults, load faults, and temperature faults. The RA007 has a Remote Test Function capability.
