During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, Starkstrom is concerned about the safety and well-being of our families, colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners.
Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the many communities that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread.
For nearly 50 years, our customers have placed their trust in us to supply our products and services to them. In today’s challenging environment, we want to provide you more information as to how we are securing our business and, in turn, yours.
Assurance for our Customers
Starkstrom has a documented Business Continuity Plan to respond to disruptive incidents, such as COVID-19, while safeguarding the health of our employees and minimising the impact on the delivery of our products and services to you.
As a business we already have very effective remote working capabilities in place and many of our staff have regularly worked from home as part of their day to day duties. For the majority, work can be conducted through remote connections, which enables our teams to work off-site for most tasks.
Our engineers throughout the UK are working remotely where possible to mitigate the risk of an entire team becoming infected. Employees who must be in the office are applying social distancing and hygiene protocols based on guidance from the NHS and the Department of Health and Social Care.
Safety On Customer Sites
Where on-site work is required (for example, working in NHS Trust locations), employees who are accomplishing specific tasks, are spending only the minimum time required in such locations. We are continually reviewing PPE requirements.
Access
Access to our office locations is restricted to operational personnel only and they are following strict hygiene protocols. Our project delivery operations are supported by a number of strategic suppliers, giving you the assurance that our supply chain is fully engaged and our product availability is robust. We are in contact with our suppliers continually to ensure they apply comparable mitigation practices, while still maintaining service levels. However, this is a rapidly evolving situation and we are keeping it under review.
In addition to these measures, Starkstrom is able to offer products, support and service solutions that can help our customers who are navigating disrupted supply chains as a result of the deepening effects of the coronavirus.
We realise these are uncertain times as the world navigates this pandemic. Starkstrom is fully committed to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees. This is our priority in order to maintain the business continuity needed to provide the products, support and services our customers rely on from Starkstrom.
As this situation evolves, our support teams will proactively reach out should there be additional support we can provide.
